Adam
Ryan: At the height of Adam’s career, he was one of the highest ranked Mixed
Martial Artists in the world. He and his training partner, Denis Kang,
travelled the world earning many victories; he has competed with and defeated
top UFC and Pride veterans. Adam earned his Brazillian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt
from Marcus Soares (Carlson Gracie Team) and now enjoys competing at the World
Championships with the best in the world.
Adam is
also actively training for more MMA and Muay Thai fights.i fights.

Sensei
Andy Pruim is a 5th Dan Black Belt who began his Shotokan Karate training
in 1972. Over the years Sensei Pruim's considerable knowledge of Japanese
Budo has made him a recognized expert in traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate
and Kobudo, having recently being inducted into the West Coast Can-Am Martial
Arts Hall of Fame.
Sensei Pruim founded
Wescom Karate in Victoria in the early 1980's which eventually turned
into one of the Island’s largest Dojo's. Since moving to the Lower Mainland,
Sensei Pruim has continued with his training in Japanese Budo having regularly
travelled to Japan in
order to train with some of the world's foremost Karate masters including
Kanazawa Hirokazu Sensei (10th Dan Shotokan Karate) .
Sensei Pruim also attended the International Budo University, located in
Katsuura, Japan on several occasions for advanced Budo training. In
addition to be being a top forms competitor, Sensei Pruim has written,
developed and produced several historical and technical articles on Karate and
it’s history, a number of which were published in the internationally
renowned "Black
Belt" magazine.
Sensei Pruim has also hosted a 20 part instructional TV series on Karate as
well as having compiled his myriad of historical Budo research into a “e.Book”
entitled “Karate-Do: A Simply Path”, now available.

Sensei
John Lowrie
began his karate training in
Tashu Karate in 1973 under the founding instructor, James MacArthur. When his
profession took him to Spokane, Washington Sensei Lowrie began training in
Goju-Ryu karate under Sensei Teruo Chinen. Upon his return to the Vancouver
area in 1995 Sensei Lowrie founded the Sungod Karate Club in North Delta.
Currently a 4th degree Black Belt Sensei Lowrie has over 15 years of
experience teaching karate to children. Sensei John is in charge of the
Karate-Tots program as well as being a dedicated father to his own four
children.
Joel
Wasel Joel has over 29 years of
experience in the Martial Arts Industry, his background includes owning and
operating his own martial arts school along with creating Canada’s 1st
nationally televised Women’s Fitness and Self-Defence program called
Rapid Fire. Joel also has an extensive competition background and was rated #4
in the world in 1999 as well as #1 nationally in 98/99 as a middle weight
fighter by the National Black Belt League. Joel has been a director and judge
throughout North America in various martial arts tournaments. Joel is always
upgrading his skills as a coach and trainer by training with top instructors
like Master Song and Tony Pep.
